Quotes

Etymology

Setag's name comes from Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, with her name being a corrupted backwards spelling of "Gates" (Gates -> ゲイツ (Geitsu) -> ツイゲ (Tsuige) -> ツイーゲ (Tsuīge)). When the anime originally aired, some translators didn't catch this reference and just transcribed her name as-is, spelling it as "Zeige".

Trivia

  • Her verbal tic in the English dub "bing" is a reference to Microsoft's search engine Bing.
    • In the original Japanese version, her verbal tic is "biru".
