Mega Drive is one of the Sega Hard Girls featured in Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. Like her Hyperdimension Neptunia counterpart, Plutia, she is inspired by the Japanese and PAL release of the Sega Mega Drive.

Profile

Appearance

Mega Drive has curved maroon eyes an she wears red glasses. Her long blonde hair is worn loose with evenly spread bangs and a black and red game controller clip. She wears a grey collared, cropped top with glowing light blue buttons and black denim shorts with a silver button at the middle and white leg cuffs. Over this is a black jacket with raspberry lining, glowing light blue accents on the shoulder and neck, and a controller resembling her hair clip. On her chest is a gold badge. She also wears black shoes with a white platform sole and oversized cuff, and on each foot is a controller.

Personality

Mega Drive is a cautious and very calculative person who prefers to make careful decisions and plans rather than immediately take action. Segami notes that due to this, awareness about video games have spread due to her actions. She also has pride that makes herself preventive on taking unfair actions.

  • Mega Drive was one of the three lead characters in the Hi☆sCoool! SeHa Girls anime, alongside Dreamcast and Sega Saturn.
  • In real life, the Sega Mega Drive is known as the Sega Genesis in other regions, most notably North America. Mega Drive retains her name however in the international releases of the Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. The reason is that a separate character in the Sega Hard Girls series is based on the Genesis name, nicknamed "Jenny", who also cameos in the game as an NPC.
