Broccoli (ブロッコリー Burokkorī) is a small and cute girl with a sharp tongue. She makes her first appearance in Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. On her way to GAMERS to do some shopping, she fell into a dimensional rift which led to her ending up in the Ultra Dimension after Neptune's request to have Mr. Izawa to summon her.

Due to the Neptunia series being a game that revolves around different universes and dimensions, there are multiple Broccolis throughout the series though all of them retain more or less the same personalities and core aspects regardless of the setting.

Trivia

  • Broccoli is the only Maker to not represent a game company but rather a merchandise company.
  • Broccoli represents the company Broccoli, who made the Di Gi Charat anime series.
  • Broccoli's appearance is based on Petit Charat a.k.a Puchiko from the Di Gi Charat series, they also share the same Japanese voice actress.
  • Broccoli adds "nyu" in the end of her sentences, just like Puchiko.
  • Neptune nicknamed her as "Puchiko", something that Broccoli herself is quite annoyed about.
  • Broccoli's yellow flying object, Gema, is based on Puchiko's Guardian, also called Gema.
  • The way Broccoli is able to fire beams from her eyes may be a reference to the recurring antagonist Dio from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, specifically his Part 1 (Phantom Blood) incarnation. He created the attack after becoming a vampire, with Straizo later dubbing it "Space Ripper Stingy Eyes" (which to some may sound slightly childish).
  • Broccoli's appearance contradicting her demeanor may be a reference to how Popuko is depicted in Pop Team Epic, where despite the anime's cute style, Popuko has similarly sharp words and a short temper.
