Rouge, also known as Red Heart, is one of the characters appearing in Chou Shin Jikuu Game Neptune: Unlimited. She is the Goddess of Sweenia, formerly known as Lowee, with Blanc acting as her senior. She represents the Nintendo Switch.

Human form

Appearance

Rouge is a young girl with long, light brown hair, with her front hair covering her right eye. Her eyes are blue on her left side and red on her right. Her attire consists of a red and blue hat with designs representing the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Cons, a red and white scarf, a dress with matching sleeves, a black shirt and blue overalls. Her legwear boasts long black socks and brown boots with each boot representing the red and blue Joy-Cons.

Personality

She is a bit shy, and believes that no one has high expectations of her, and thinks about retiring from her role as a goddess.

Goddess form

Appearance

In her Goddess form, she has long, red hair with black, red and blue bow-like hair clips and matching eyes. She wears a black bodysuit with red, blue and green designs, a white top, and arm gloves and boots to match the bodysuit.

Personality

She has an idol-like personality with self-confidence and a sense of invincibility. Although she often gets carried away and runs wild, her energy strongly captivates people.

Etymology

Rouge's name is derived from the french word for red.

Trivia

Early concept by Tsunako

• Prior to Rouge's creation, during development of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Tsunako illustrated a rough sketch of what Red Heart would've looked like if she existed, and would later incorporate a bit of her concept design to her final design.
• Rouge's ring weapons are a reference to the Ring-Con accessory used for Ring Fit Adventure.
