Higurashi is one of the Maker characters appearing in Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters. She represents the visual novel series Higurashi When They Cry.

Appearance
Higurashi has short, orange hair and blue eyes and wears a black, red and white bodysuit with matching gloves, thighhigh boots, armor on her upper arms and waist, a large ribbon on her lower back, and a bow on the back of her head.
Personality
Her personality is similar to Rena Ryuugu from said series. She is a friendly girl in search of all things cute, but can easily get angry when threatened.

Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters
Chapter 1
Higurashi is first seen in the Planeptune Shelter as a refugee of the PC Continent. She first meets Nepgear, who just came back from her mission, and tells her that her home continent is in danger, hence the reason she's helping everyone by destroying the monsters. She then attempts to cuddle her, but gets stopped by Shanghai Alice, who tells her that she's making Nepgear uncomfortable. Higurashi then starts jumping on Rom and Ram, who also get uncomfortable, and states that she can't help it and wants to take them home. Blanc notices her weird habit and starts chasing after them.
Chapter 7
Higurashi helps the Goddesses find a spy who is working for Arfoire in Planeptune. As they arrive to the research facility, they encounter a mountain of documents and recorded media. Nepgear then finds a burned disc and starts playing it. Maho sees herself on the recording about a criminal organization and the solution to restore all shares and prevent the ruin of the PC Continent, but doesn't remember any of it. Higurashi claims that it's a lie and implies that Maho is Arfoire's spy. Maho denies this claim, but Higurashi counteracts by mentioning that she saw her talk to someone at the rPhone factory and she is the traitor. As she is about to attack Maho, she is stopped by the Goddesses who then aid Maho.

Etymology
Higurashi's name comes from the visual novel series Higurashi When They Cry, developed by 07th Expansion.
Trivia
- Higurashi's design is inspired by Rena Ryuugu, and also shares the same voice actor as her in both Japanese and English.
- Her attire is based off of Rena's original design from the trading card game Leaf Fight, which is itself based on the costume of Angel Mort restaurant from the series proper.
