R-4s are recurring enemies in the Neptunia franchise, they're saucer like machines, with a single reddish "eye" and a spiked circular ring in the back. Generally named after various kind of flash media.

R-4s have 4 skills:

  • Attack (0 SP)
  • Slash (0 SP)
  • Explosion (120 SP)
  • EX Impulse (160 SP)

Attack Patterns

Above 50% HP

R-4s seem to use all their attacks almost equally, when they run out of SP, they use Attack and Slash.

Below 50% HP

When R-4s' HP go below 50%, the odds of them using Attack or Explosion increase, while the odds of them using Slash or EX Impulse decrease.
