Hyperdimension Neptunia The Animation: DNA Comic Anthology/Chapter 9

Synopsis

Compa brings home eggplants for dinner. As Neptune and IF are disgusted, Vert overhears them and brings up an idea on how to fix their phobia. She first starts off by blindfolding the two, and explains that their main reaction to eggplants is based on sight. Neptune thinks this is much scarier if she cannot see them, but Noire reminds her it is also for Peashy's education, and about managing to overcome likes and dislikes.

In the first test, Nepgear feeds her sister some pudding, but the latter freaks out and thinks the eggplant hit her tongue. She then tries again, and experiences a different taste from pudding, with Nepgear telling her it was eggplant coated in sugar, and continues to eat it.

On IF and Compa's side, the latter starts the practice round with a parsing fancy, in which it was all just a fake out. This arouses Vert, and tells Nepgear that her sister doesn't know what she is eating while blindfolded. This embarrasses the latter, and speaks to herself that she will not think of such things, and will leave it in her delusions. Blanc suggests to her if she blindfolded herself, then she would not know if she did.

Neptune and IF finally overcame their phobia of eggplant, all thanks to Vert. Suddenly, Neptune sees her sister with Vert eating eggplants while blindfolded, with the two thinking it is a lewd act. IF implies this method is very dangerous, and decides to put a seal on it, with Neptune stating it is impossible for them to eat eggplants.
