Hyperdimension Neptunia The Animation: DNA Comic Anthology/Chapter 8

Synopsis

Neptune takes photos of her younger sister Nepgear, when suddenly Histoire arrives to see what they are doing. Neptune then shows her the goddess photo shooting software on Photo Mega, with Nepgear telling her it has become quite popular among the people, and was reinforced by a goddess photo she posted online to increase their shares. She then continues by stating the photo can also be ranked, and if the rank is high, they can earn some serious shares, and shows a picture of her falling asleep with a Neptune plushie and her panties exposed.

This shocks Histoire, seeing something this indecent, but Neptune states that they are getting quick shares this way. This shocks the former even more, and asks her how would she feel to have a indecent photo of herself shared around for faith. Nepgear tells Histoire that Neptune's photos do not actually generate much shares, which makes the latter feel ashamed. Nepgear then comforts her sister and the two notice that the photo has not reached #1 yet.

Meanwhile at Lastation, Noire's photo becomes very popular and gains a lot of shares from it. As Uni feels proud of her work, she then notices Planeptune's shares are rising quickly, and starts taking more photos.

Back at Planeptune, Neptune is furious that Noire beat them in the rankings, so she decides to put Nepgear in a micro bikini in order to get up the rankings and gain even more shares. Uni sees the photo, and takes more revealing photos of Noire, starting with a picture of her changing in the bathroom, but Neptune counters by having her sister fight a battle in the swimsuit, causing a war for #1 rank.

Noire arrives to the scene to see what was going on after seeing those pictures. Noire severely scolds the three for being too competitive on the photo game. After the incident, most of the photos were deleted, and heavy regulations were made. Although they did not get much shares from the public, Nepgear still praises the last picture of her sister.
