Hyperdimension Neptunia The Animation: DNA Comic Anthology/Chapter 7

Synopsis

Nepgear finds a note in Neptune's room saying "Don't come find it" with her handwriting, and shows it to IF, Compa and Histoire. As they read the note, IF decides to the group not to find it, when suddenly Neptune arrives to tell them to look for whatever "it" is. Nepgear is relieved that her sister is here, and first thought she ran away from home when she left that letter. This upsets the latter, thinking that everyone was being cold recently, and she was right. She then leaves, with the group being confused about what's going on, and thought they were neglecting her, but she just wants to play.

After being upset about the group being cold on her, Neptune decides to visit Lastation to play games with Uni, when Noire arrives to ask why she's here. Neptune then answers by stating she ran away, but Noire tells her she's lying and just here to play games. The former tries out some snack and commands the Lastation CPU to get her and Uni a refill. Noire takes away the snacks, and Neptune decides to play another game with the former's sister.

Cut to midnight, and no one has arrived for Neptune, who then hugs Noire doing work on her computer. After the former's ranting about no one coming for her and being hated, Noire tells her it is not the case and she is actually very loved, which makes her very proud. She then continues by stating it is more of a matter of whether or not she is trusted as a goddess or not. After hearing the truth, Neptune gets depressed once again for not being a good goddess, but Noire helps cheer her up. She then starts by making her read what is on the screen, and tells her that is the work she has been turning in. She follows it up by stating it is also a matter related to Planeptune, and if she can solve it, it will make going home a lot easier. As this becomes too complicated for the Planeptune goddess, she threatens to leave, but Noire asks if she wants recognition, and the former answers "Absolutely".

Neptune returns from her "vacation", and Nepgear tells her that Histoire gave her the day off, and that tomorrow's schedule will be even tighter, which makes Neptune shocked and fall flat face down.
