From Neptunia Wiki
Overview

Chou Shin Jikuu Game Neptune: Unlimited (超新時空ゲイム ネプテューヌ∞ (アンリミテッド) Chō Shin Jikū Geimu Neputūnu ∞ (Anrimiteddo), lit. Super-New Space-Time Game Neptune: Unlimited) is an upcoming game coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the Neptunia series. This game follows Neptune, along with the new and old goddesses preventing doomsday from happening on a newly-evolved Gamindustri.

Story

It was the “first meteorite” heralding the end of the world.

As despair engulfed everything, only the goddess Neptune remained in a white void. Guided by a mysterious voice and the number etched on her cheek—

—it was a sign signaling a renewed challenge against the apocalypse. Neptune’s “Retry” activated, causing the “end” and the “beginning” to repeat.

Encounters with new allies and enemies Overcoming countless defeats, Neptune and her companions face the “true end.”

To save the world from the crisis of the apocalypse, the goddesses now soar into a new spacetime—![1]

Setting

This game takes place in an evolved Gamindustri. The nations of Lastation, Lowee, now known as Sweenia, and Leanbox are now run by new goddesses, while the predecessors act as their seniors.

Characters

Goddesses

Neptune
Voiced by: Rie Tanaka (Japanese)
The Goddess of Planeptune and the main protagonist of the game.
For some reason, she often suffers from amnesia throughout the series, but as she herself says, "It's a common occurrence for protagonists."
With her natural cheerfulness, she shatters any sense of despair or serious plot developments and stands up to the end of the world.
Her favorite food is pudding, and her least favorite is eggplant.
People often get her name wrong.
Noire
Voiced by: Asami Imai (Japanese)
The Goddess of Lastation and senior of Ciel.
She is a stoic, elite type who handles everything flawlessly on her own.
She acts aloof toward those closest to her, but is deeply loyal and compassionate.
She has tried not to interfere with Ciel's governance, but she feels a significant ideological divide between them.
Recently, she has apparently been operating as a secret hero within Lastation while concealing her true identity.
Her favorite animal is the cat.
Blanc
Voiced by: Kana Asumi (Japanese)
The Goddess of Lowee and senior of Rouge.
She is usually serious and quiet, but when her stress reaches its limit, she snaps and becomes violent.
She has decided to leave supporting Rouge to her younger sisters, Rom and Ram, but she can't help but interfere out of concern.
The web novel she wrote as a hobby became a massive hit thanks to its manga adaptation, and it has finally been greenlit for an anime adaptation.
She has unexpectedly become a hugely popular author and is now living a life of chronic sleep deprivation.
Vert
Voiced by: Rina Satou (Japanese)
The Goddess of Leanbox and senior of Anna and Lott.
She has a refined and gentle demeanor, but deep down she's a hardcore gamer.
She is truly delighted that a new goddess—who feels like a younger sister to her—has been born, and under the guise of offering work support, she visits the twins almost every day.
Anna and Lott call her "Lady Vert," and she's troubled that they don't treat her like an older sister.
Rouge
Voiced by: Hana Shimano (Japanese)[2]
The newly appointed Guardian Goddess of Sweenia, which changed its name from Lowee.
Believing that no one has high expectations of her, she is already eager to retire from her role as guardian goddess.
Since she spends most of her time shut away in her room, she has very few acquaintances, but she gets along well with Ciel, the Guardian Goddess of Lastation.
For certain reasons, she is unable to transform into a goddess.
Ciel
Voiced by: Momoka Terasawa (Japanese)[3]
The newly appointed Guardian Goddess of Lastation.
A genius girl who single-handedly created the city management AI [Lasla], driven by an obsession with cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
She hides her true identity as the guardian goddess from the public and instead uses social media and videos as "Ciel-chan, Lastation's PR Representative" to energize the nation.
She can't help but worry about Rouge, caring for her regardless of which country she belongs to.
Anna
Voiced by: Yukino Nishizono (Japanese)[4]
A newly born Guardian Goddess of Leanbox and Lott's twin sister.
She is a young lady who always wears a calm smile and exudes an air of sophistication.
She's a true sheltered girl, and her words and actions often seem detached from the real world.
She has a habit of saying things that sound like aphorisms, but while they always seem to ring true, she comes across as a bit vague.
She is always seen together with her younger sister, Lott, and the sight of them standing side by side exudes an aura that moves people.
While she is naturally athletic, she tires easily when walking around.
Lott
Voiced by: Yukino Nishizono (Japanese)[4]
A newly born Guardian Goddess of Leanbox and Anna's twin sister.
In contrast to her older sister, she's high-energy, impatient, and talkative.
She doesn't hold back with anyone, speaks her mind when something bothers her, and isn't afraid to call people out on anything that catches her eye.
At first glance, she seems like a sheltered princess, but her tastes and hobbies are down-to-earth.

Goddess Candidates

Nepgear
Voiced by: Yui Horie (Japanese)
The Goddess Candidate of Planeptune and Neptune's little sister.
She adores her older sister and can't help but spoil Neptune.
Since she looks a little more mature than her sister and has a serious, responsible personality, people often mistake her for the older sister.
She sometimes serves as the acting Guardian Goddess when her sister is away.
She's good with machines and can't stop talking once she starts discussing technical details.
Lately, she's been obsessed with practicing cooking.
Uni
Voiced by: Eri Kitamura (Japanese)
The Goddess Candidate of Lastation and Noire's little sister.
She's a tsundere girl with a bit of a mischievous streak, but she's also hardworking and polite to her superiors.
As a gun enthusiast who loves firearms, she gets along well with Nepgear, who's into mechs, and the two are close friends.
While she looks up to her older sister, Noire, as her ideal, she also harbors a strong inferiority complex.
In the past, they struggled to find the right balance in their relationship, but they have gradually learned to express their true feelings to one another.
Lately, she has been supporting Noire's hero activities behind the scenes.
Rom
Voiced by: Yui Ogura (Japanese)
The Goddess Candidate of Lowee and Blanc's little sister.
She is a twin with Ram, and Rom is the older sister.
She is a shy and reserved girl, but she is working to overcome her shyness so she can set a good example for her juniors.
Since Bran became a popular author, she has taken on a manager-like role, supporting him with his writing and daily life, and leads a busy life.
She has a habit of expressing her emotions using onomatopoeic and mimetic words like "sowasowa."
Her hobby is drawing.
Ram
Voiced by: Kaori Ishihara (Japanese)
The Goddess Candidate of Lowee and Blanc's other little sister.
In contrast to her twin sister Rom, she is a lively and mischievous girl.
Lately, since Rom has been focusing mainly on supporting Bran, Ram often ends up looking after Rouge.
Although she has always been a free-spirited person, she is working hard to be a good mentor to her juniors.
She has a strong sense of justice, but when she sees someone acting or speaking in a cool way, she can't help but give them a sincere compliment—even if they're an enemy.

Supporting

IF
Voiced by: Kana Ueda (Japanese)
An intelligence agent belonging to Planeptune.
She races around the entire Game Industry on her motorcycle conducting investigations, calling herself "a breath of fresh air sweeping through Gamindustri."
She and Compa are childhood friends, and together with Neptune—whom she met one day without realizing she was a goddess—the three of them are close friends.
She's a level-headed straight woman, but she's often caught up in the wild antics of those around her.
She owns and cherishes numerous mobile devices, and if one breaks or goes missing, she panics to an extent that is unimaginable given her usual cool demeanor.
Compa
Voiced by: Kanako Sakai (Japanese)
A nurse working at the hospital in Planeptune.
She's childhood friends with IF, and the three of them—along with Neptune—are best friends.
She has a ditzy and clumsy personality, but she's very dexterous and excels at all kinds of housework.
Her cooking skills, in particular, are professional-level, and she often visits Neptune and the others to treat them to her cooking.
Lately, she's even been teaching Nepgear how to cook at her request.
When the town faces a crisis, she takes the lead alongside IF and the others to protect the residents.
She was the first person to start calling Neptune "Nep-Nep."
Histoire
Voiced by: Mika Kanai (Japanese)
An artificial lifeform created long ago by the guardian goddess who once ruled Planeptune.
While she used to focus solely on recording history, she is now deeply involved in national politics.
Believing that she should cooperate with the newly born guardian goddesses to ensure a better future for Gamindustri, she is planning a "Goddess Council" as the first step toward that goal.
She has a serious personality and often finds herself at a loss when dealing with Neptune, who does things at her own pace.
She often needs about three days for research and preparation, and her catchphrase is, "It'll take three days."
