Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos/Gameplay

From Neptunia Wiki
  • Note: This page is taken from the official website[1] and Gematsu.[2]

Key Mechanics

The main objective of this game is to round up a multiple amount of unique dogoos while racing on a motorcycle in each stage. If the player rounds up a fixed number of dogoos, the stage is cleared.

While in a stage, players will encounter enemies on motorcycles who are also rounding up dogoos. In order to steal their dogoos, the player must gather up a ton of them to launch an attack on the enemy. If the player manages to hit them just right, they can snatch a large number of dogoos.

Dogoo Types

Each stage has unique types of dogoos. Some of them have special effects when the player collects them.

Examples of the types of dogoos with status effects:

  • Witch Dogoo: Improves jump power
  • Scaled-up Dogoo: Makes the rider much larger
  • Police Dogoo: Makes other dogoos escape
  • Virtual Dogoo: Narrows a rider's field vision

Bike Customization

Players can customize their bike to change the appearance and improve performance. Each part has its pros and cons. Depending on each combination, the bike's performance will change in various ways.

Bike parts can be purchased using BP earned by clearing stages.

Photo Mode

Photo Mode returns with an additional calendar function where the player can print out screenshots they've taken and create a calendar using said screenshots.
