AC/DC: When Neptune describes the mysterious ninja who wears all black, she references the AC/DC song "Back In Black" and mentions that they might get DMCA'd for saying that.
Dragon Ball Z: Neptune and Blanc reference Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation in Dragon Ball Z during the group's first encounter with Steamax. After he points their huge breasts as their weakness, Neptune refers to Blanc as "a mad warrior who, while holding a calm heart, can be awakened by intense anger". Blanc goes on to say "You've freaking pissed me off! Steamaaaax!!"
