Description: This template is used to mark text as needing sourcing.
Syntax: Place {{citation needed}} after unsourced and/or questionable text so that its implication is self explanatory as to what is lacking citation. If necessary, use the article's talk page to discuss further details.

The template is used to identify claims in articles, particularly if questionable, that lack a citation to a reliable source.

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.
Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Reason for citation	`reason`	A reason as to why, or for what content, the citation is needed; use single quotes, if any	String	optional
