The Trendi Phenomenon, known as the Buzzoer Phenomenon (バズール現象 Bazūru genshō) in the Japanese version, was an event that took place in Gamindustri. Its name comes from Trendi Lykes, the first victim of the phenomenon.
After the rising popularity of the rPhone, monsters suddenly appeared out of nowhere, affecting the four nations. As a result of the outbreaks, local citizens were quarantined in their homes with the streets deserted, which left the continent in ruins and communication with the Ultra Dimension cut-off.
