Anti-Crystals (アンチクリスタル Anchi Kurisutaru) are red, cross-shaped gemstones that are capable of stealing amounts of Share energy from the Share Crystals. They are created and refined by Arfoire and Warechu to foil the CPUs at weak limits, which serves them as twisted counterparts. They first debuted in episode 3 of Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation.
Functions
Unlike the Share Crystal, generally speaking, the Anti-Crystals are capable of halting the HDD forms of any CPUs for a few seconds before depleting their energy. The Anti-Crystals, however, are not designed as weapons, but it only uses it as backfiring traps to bind a CPU to strong negative feelings as a side effect, eventually putting them to coma. The first to experience the Anti-Crystal's side effect is Nepgear herself, but it does not absorb her energy due to the "Share Resonance" secretly housing within her body.
